Weber Stone Company invites you and your organizations to Stone City, Iowa for a full tour of our quarry operations.  We have hosted a variety of groups ranging from elementary school children to a group of 150 from Russia!

All major components of the quarry operation are visited during the tour, including:

• The removal of stone blocks from the quarry floor.

• The crushing of stone into various aggregate varieties

• The sawing, shaping, polishing and engraving of several types of residential and commercial project being produced at the time of the tour.

The tour may also include a brief visit to some of the historical buildings in and around Stone City, Iowa.

The tours at Stone City Quarries usually take about one hour.  This can be adjusted accordingly, depending on the tour group’s available time and interest level.  A single bus-load makes for the most convenient and efficient tour.
